We first saw Donna's artwork at the BC Home Show and instantly fell in love with her abstracts. We had been actively searching for a piece of art to go above our fireplace in our newly renovated living room. We showed Donna a couple of pictures of the spot and she had a particular piece in mind. She offered to drive it out to our home so that we could take a look. Smart girl brought along several other pieces as well! Long story short, we ended up buying three paintings from her that night - the large one over the fireplace, a piece for the dining room and one for our family room! The picture for the dining room wasn't even finished so she got out her paintbrush and finished it right then and there in our garage!! We absolutely love the colours, textures and different styles of all three paintings. Donna's passion and skill shines through her art and each piece has a name and a story behind her inspiration....truly meaningful for her customers. We highly recommend buying from Donna - she is a gem to deal with. We look forward to watching her journey to continued successes.

I have bought a lot of art in my time, but my experience with Donna was very special. Her personality drew me into her corner at Art Vancouver and from there on, it only went up. I had the pleasure of first meeting Donna at one of her Vancouver shows. She was live painting in her booth and I was fascinated by her art. I watched her paint which was a very special experience. I first crossed paths with Donna’s creations in 2013. What immediately drew me to her work was the emotional depth in her paintings—the energy just bounces off the canvas! Those who have visited my home are often drawn to her piece and the conversations that ensue are just a lot of fun. Since then, I have purchased another piece. But I think the best quality found in her work is actually the artist herself. She is a very deep, thoughtful but lighthearted soul and you will find those qualities in each of her pieces. My partner and I met Donna at IDSWest in 2012 and were immediately drawn to her artwork. We made a purchase and then I began to follow her artistic journey. She was getting ready for a showing in New York City when I saw the painting Ziar and it brought tears to my eyes. My father had just passed away and when I looked at the painting, I saw a heart surrounded by angle wings. I had to have the painting; unfortunately it was catalogued and heading to NYC. Unbeknownst to me, my partner contacted Donna and arranged for us to purchase the painting – for a few months I would stare at the online picture of it and see the word SOLD. Then in June there was a surprise car trip to Donna’s and I was presented with Ziar. Donna is an amazing individual and artist that shares her emotions on the canvas. I am fan of hers!

We first met Donna Giraud at a design show Sep 30, 2012. I’m not sure if it was the art, or the artist, but both Shawn & I were immediately drawn to the Giraud display. We both fell in love with many of Donna’s works, and purchased a piece called Syntax. Something about that piece connected with us both, and has since hung in our bedroom. Over the years we’ve followed Donna’s career and it’s been fun to see her work transform. She is a lovely human being, who leaves it all out on the canvas, and we are so happy that she has been able to live her dream. We love her work and find ourselves wishing we had more wall space.
